San Francisco, California, September 30, 2024 – AMTSO, the cybersecurity industry’s testing standards community, is excited to announce Vlad Iliushin as its new President and CEO. Vlad takes succeeds Dennis Batchelder, who is stepping down after eight successful years of guiding the organization. Learn more about Vlad’s experience and his plans for the organization.

Vlad Iliushin, founder and CEO of ELLIO Technology, has been a member of AMTSO’s board since July 2022. He brings over a decade of cybersecurity experience, particularly in fighting mass exploitation attacks, IoT and network security. Prior to ELLIO, Vlad led Avast’s IoT Lab and developed proofs-of-concept for security features used in Avast products, and conducted research on IoT threats.
As AMTSO moves into a new chapter, Vlad’s focus will be on enhancing member engagement, expanding initiatives beyond traditional antivirus testing, and attracting new members to ensure the organization’s continued growth and relevance in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.
AMTSO began with a focus on fair standards in antivirus testing but has since expanded to encompass other cybersecurity areas such as XDR, VPN, and IoT security.
